Itinerary

Start: You can start your safari at 6:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 3:00 PM.

If your hotel is within 10 km of Udawalawe National Park, we will pick you up for free. If you’re staying farther away, we can help arrange a comfortable taxi to bring you to the park.

The ride to the park is quiet and relaxing. Depending on the time, you’ll enjoy the cool morning air or the warm afternoon sun. When you arrive, your passport and entry ticket will be checked before entering the park.

Your safari begins as the jeep drives slowly along the park’s dirt roads. You’ll soon start spotting wild animals, elephants in the open fields, water buffalo near the water, and deer running through the trees. You may also see monkeys, rabbits, and colourful peacocks showing off in the sunlight. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a leopard hiding in the bushes.

Look up and you may see parrots, eagles, or the Sri Lankan Junglefowl (The national bird of Sri Lanka). The mix of bird calls and wild sounds around you brings the park to life.

Your guide will stop the jeep at good viewing spots, giving you time to enjoy the moment and take photos. This tour is focused on offering the full wildlife experience at a fair and budget friendly price.

After around 04 to 05 hours of adventure, your safari ends. Your driver will return you safely to your hotel or meeting point, ending the trip with great memories and beautiful views.
